You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God’s gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own. It isn’t something you have earned, so there is nothing you can brag about.
Trunk or Treat Sunday evening (10/26/14) was another huge success! Here are some photos from the annual event:
Jim and Verla Meriwether were first in the line of trunks.
Next were Ken & Rita Otey and Dave & Kathy Land with extra help from Ruth Crabtree.
Don and Susan Brake had lots of goodies!
Ginny and Beth gave away a lot of candy!
Linda Short (pictured) along with Pat Gale and Kim Hutcheson handed out the gift bags and hot dogs!
Lisa Vaughan and Marilyn Book (pictured) along with Linda Monge handled the popcorn, lemonade, and hot chocolate!
Security was never an issue with Bill Book, Tom Blythe, and Clifford Reever at the ready! ;)
Pretty clever, huh?
The Stauder "little old lady" got a lot of looks!
Thanks to all for a safe and fun evening!!
**WORK DAY AT THE PARSONAGE WAS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25TH, 2014**... We worked on the landscaping. Nancy and Gary Hallam picked up all of the plants. We prepared the ground, put down weed barrier, set the plants, and added mulch. Those who did the work were Nancy and Gary Hallam, Mike Copeland, Ken Otey, Kathy and Dave Land, Ginny and Chuck Reynolds, Bill Book, and Brooklyn! Enjoy the photos below:

It was Nancy's "show" as she explains it to Tom.
Cheers from Mr. Otey!
Mike could operate the rake AND bring us donuts and coffee!
It was a beautiful day to spruce up the parsonage landscaping!
Ginny and Kathy worked hard!
